A morbid fella to remind you that life is for the living, so you gotta enjoy it while it lasts! These bottle openers are pretty hefty being forged from 3/4″ steel, this makes the back of the skull a great nut cracker. The knurl twist gives them a comfortable feel in the hand.

These bottle openers are hot waxed using “Zack’s Wax” a paste wax made by a blacksmith specifically for forged items.

These bottle openers are based on the design by the great Mark Aspery. Hand forged from 1/2″ square bar in my home made coal forge. These masters of the (b)arcane are a great gift for any fantasy lover!

Each bottle opener is coated in paste wax to prevent rust.

]]> These Bottle openers are made from Grade 8 bolts that I use when making mokume gane billets. Their inherent industrial style make them ideal as a dedicated shop/garage/shed bottle opener, or just a great conversation starter in the kitchen. Grade 8 bolts are high strength bolts unfortunately due to the high heat and stress on the bolt during the mokume gane firing process they cannot be reused, so I decided to turn them into bottle openers!
