These studs are made from three copper based alloys: nickel silver, copper, and bronze. This material is known as mokume gane (wood grain metal in Japanese). The material is brazed onto sterling silver studs. All studs are triple coated with clear coat to prevent oxidation, and preserve the patina.<\/p>\n
There are two sizes to choose from (~8mm and ~10mm) and two different chemical patinas (Peracetic Acid and Liver of Sulfur). If you would like them to come with earing backs make sure to select the “silver earring backs included’ option.<\/p>\n
