Rail Road Spike Knife Class

This class is geared towards people just starting their bladesmithing journey. Whether you have a few hours of under your belt or zero, we’ll walk you through the steps of forging a usable knife out of a rail road spike. This class will focus on fundamentals that you can apply to both blacksmithing and knifemaking.

In this class you will learn hammer control, basic blacksmithing techniques and terms, basic heat treatment, and how to use a belt grinder. At the end of class you should walk out with a functional knife, and the knowledge to make more!
